Former President Goodluck Jonathan has extended heartfelt birthday wishes to ex-President Muhammadu Buhari on the occasion of his 82nd birthday.
In a goodwill message personally signed by him and shared with Truth Live News and other reputable media houses, on Monday in Abuja, Jonathan commended Buhari’s contributions to Nigeria’s unity and development, describing them as remarkable.
“I also seize this opportunity to acknowledge your commitment to the development and progress of our country,” Jonathan said.
The message, which has drawn attention across political circles, shows the unusual camaraderie between the two former leaders who once represented opposing political parties.
Despite leading rival parties during their time in office, Jonathan and Buhari have demonstrated a rare example of political maturity and national focus, fostering a cordial relationship in their post-presidency years.
