Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has confirmed that Anthony Joshua will face the winner of the upcoming bout between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, provided he emerges victorious in his September fight against Daniel Dubois at Wembley.
Truth Live News recalls that Joshua’s last bout came in March when he secured a second-round knockout against Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia.
According to Hearn, their primary objective is for Joshua to reclaim the world heavyweight title, with the ultimate goal of becoming undisputed.
Usyk triumphed over Fury in their previous encounter last month, winning via split decision and unifying the heavyweight division by claiming the WBC title in addition to his existing WBA (Super), WBO, IBF, and IBO titles.
