The Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State has declared six a.m to six p.m curfew following a communal clash between Ovonum and Ofatura communities in Obubra LGA Cross River Central Senatorial District, south south Nigeria.
A statement by his special adviser, media and publicity, Christian Ita Esq, directs all security agencies in the state to ensure strict enforcement of the curfew.
The statement reads that “the Governor decries the destruction of lives and property in the renewed clashes, ” he vowed that Governmment will bring to book all those behind the war.
