MultiChoice, one of Africa’s leading entertainment company has been directed by an Appeal Court sitting in Port Harcourt to sub-license some channels to Metro-digital.
According to the court, the judgement is in furtherance of the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission’s code.
In his Judgement, the presiding judge, Justice Olabode Adegbehingbe on Wednesday ruled that the lower court was wrong when it dismissed the suit of the Appellant (Metro-digital), after p the appellant proved the existence of the dispute between itself and the first respondent (MultiChoice).
Adegbehingbe also directed (NBC) being the second respondent to prevail on Multi-choice to follow the court order within 21 days ultimatum.
