Gunmen suspected to be men of the Biafran Military Group in a viral video were seen disrupting Labour party meeting in Enugu.
In the video, the gunmen were seen holding guns and arms destroying the canopies, chairs and even shooting at the cars parked at the meeting scene.
The voice in the background said, “…of Enugu West Senatorial district, we’re here, we’re working live and direct. We ensure that this land belongs to the federal republic of Biafra, we’re working tooth and nail, in the Bush, in the village, everywhere.
All these political parties and political jingo, we’re here doing what we’re supposed to do — it is our duty to defend the land, fight for the land, we’re here live in Awgu local government, where these political jingoism, political thieves are here trying to sell our land to the people…”
