Lionel Messi will leave Paris Saint-Germain, Truth Live News has learnt following the French club’s decision to suspend him for two weeks.
As a consequence of Messi skipping training to travel to Saudi Arabia without permission, PSG on Tuesday suspended him.
Football Journalist Fabrizio Romano also confirmed his exit from the team on his own Facebook page, writing partly:
“No doubts: Lionel Messi will leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season, decision confirmed.
“Leo’s father Jorge communicated the decision to Paris Saint-Germain already one month ago due to the project.
“PSG have suspended Messi starting from today and for the next two weeks after his trip to Saudi Arabia.
“Looks like the relationship was broken after the decision made not to continue together for next season.”
Among Messi’s options if he leaves PSG include a return to former club Barcelona, while he has also been linked with MLS side Inter Miami and clubs in Saudi Arabia.
