The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has appointed Amina Arong as the new national women leader, succeeding Stella Effah-Attoe, who passed away in October 2023. The announcement was made through an official statement by PDP spokesperson Debo Ologunagba on Thursday.
Hailing from Cross River, Arong is described as a “prominent women mobiliser,” and the party expresses confidence in her ability to contribute significantly to national leadership.
