In a unanimous decision, the House of Assembly in Rivers state has passed in a motion aimed at derecognising ex-governoe Celestine Omehia as Former Governor of the state, thereby stripping him off of all benefits, entitlement and privileges attached to the office.
Truthlive.net gathered that Omehia will refund to the state government all monies (N600 million and N96 million pension allowance) paid to him since 2005 when he got that recognition and entitlement as former Governor of the State.
Recalled, there has been a rift and face off between Gov Wike and H E Celestine Omehia over allegation of backstabbing, sell out and betrayal by Omehia and other close allies.
