On Monday, Philip Shaibu, the deputy governor of Edo State, and two of his security personnel tried to break into the governor’s personal office.
Early on Monday morning, the Deputy Governor made his way to the Governor’s Office on Dennis Osadebey Avenue and attempted to confront him. However, despite being informed that the governor wasn’t yet in the office, Shaibu persisted in entering the governor’s private office.
The security guard ignored all requests from them to politely go back and call the governor if he wanted to see his principle. Instead, he persisted in shoving the barrier, creating a commotion. He might physically attack the governor, observers fear.
