The Nasarawa State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of one Alice Mulak for stabbing her boyfriend to death with a knife in Ungwan Gwari, Karu Local Government Area in Nasarawa State.
Truthlive.net gathered that the incident happened during a misunderstanding between Alice and her boyfriend.
DSP Ramhan Nansel, a spokesman from the state command, confirmed the incident in a statement on Friday, October 14, 2022,
He said:
“The suspect was arrested by police operatives attached to Mararaba ‘A’ Division led by CSP Musa Babayola.
During preliminary investigation, it was revealed that the incident happened behind City Rock Hotel, Maraba. The deceased and his girlfriend engaged themselves in fisticuffs as a result of a misunderstanding.
He said:
“Hence, the suspect was arrested and the knife used in perpetrating the offence was consequently recovered based on the directives of the Commissioner of Police, CP Adesina Soyemi.”
