Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard has confirmed that Senegal’s Kalidou Koulibaly will be out of the next two fixtures for the London side.
The English manager revealed that the Senegalese center-back will be about for weeks after picking a hamstring injury during Chelsea’s clash vs Madrid at the Bernabeu on Wednesday.
Koulibaly will miss Chelsea’s Premier League show against Brighton at the Stampford Bridge today.
The 31-year-old defender will also miss out in the second leg of Champions League quarterfinals against the Los Blancos on Tuesday.
He said, “He won’t be available for either game. It’s a hamstring injury and will be a matter of weeks, rather than days.”
So far, Frank Lampard has lost his first to games after his appointment as in interim coach at Chelsea.
