NIGERIA, ABUJA – Equating his 100 Days in office with Industrial Renewal that is shaping Nigeria’s Future, the Minister of State for Industry Sen. John Owan Enoh has said that “as we step further into 2025, Nigeria stands at a defining moment in its industrial journey.

Minister Enoh, who stated this on Thursday while marking his 100 days in office said he marked 100 days of resolute commitment to reigniting Nigeria’s industrial potential.

“Guided by the visionary leadership of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and working closely with the Hon. Minister of Trade & Investment, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, we are laying the foundation for a resilient and inclusive economy that will drive sustainable development and prosperity.” He said.

Again, Sen. Enoh took to his Facebook page to announced that as the Minister of State for Industry, his commitment remains steadfast in steering Nigeria’s industrial landscape toward global competitiveness, innovation, and sustainable growth through six key strategic priorities.

According to him, as the promise of a robust, self-sustaining economy is within reach, the twin engines of economic transformation is driven by industrialization and skills development.

For instance, bellow are the six key strategic priorities of the Minister:

  • Nigerian Automotive Industry Development Plan (NAIDP) – Revitalizing vehicle production and positioning Nigeria as a key player in the automotive sector.
  • Special Agro-Processing Zones (SAPZ) – Strengthening agro-industrial value chains for food security and export growth.
  • Cotton, Textile, and Garments (CTG) Industry – Reviving textile manufacturing to create jobs and drive local production.
  • Petrochemical, Chemical & Pharmaceutical Manufacturing – Enhancing domestic production of essential industrial and consumer goods.
  • MSME Census – Capturing real-time data to support small businesses and unlock targeted policy interventions.
  • Industrial Revolution Work Group (IRWG) – Driving industrial transformation through policy reforms and stakeholder engagement.

In conclusion, the Minister noted that the future belongs to those who dare to reimagine, realign, and revitalize.
