Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho has rubbished speculation that he plans to sign Cristiano Ronaldo.
The rumors suggested Mourinho wanted to bring his Portuguese compatriot back to European football as Ronaldo’s time at Al Nassr nears its end.
Mourinho jokingly downplayed the rumors, saying Ronaldo might only visit Turkey for food or to see him.
“News about Cristiano Ronaldo to Fenerbahçe is ridiculous,” Mourinho stated, adding, “Cristiano might come to Istanbul to eat… or maybe he’ll come see his old friend Jose; we can eat at my hotel!”
