Former Roma coach, Jose Mourinho, has expressed his disappointment with the Roma’s decision to terminate his contract.
Mourinho, in a conversation with Football.com, disclosed that he had declined other lucrative offers to stay with Roma.
“Being sacked by AS Roma is the one that has been hurting me more. I gave everything.
“In these three years, I refused to become Portugal’s new head coach with the best national team ever. I also had a big proposal from Saudi Arabia, Mourinho stated.
Truth Live News reports that Mourinho, who guided Roma to the Europa Conference League title in 2022, joined the Serie A club in 2021, but was relieved of his duties last month due to a string of poor results.
