As queue at the ATM continues unabatedly, Bank managers have been accused of selling new naira notes to the politicians in Calabar.
Residents of Cross River State in the south south region of Nigeria, inferably have been deprived of the new naira notes by the bank managers.
Recall that the CBN had announced 10th of February, 2023 as the Deadline for the exchange of old naira notes for the redesign notes.
The Bank managers were reported to have been selling the new naira notes to politicians even before it arrives in the Bank.
Confirming the development in a whatapp post, a human rights activist Citizen Agba Jalingo, said one of the bank managers disclosed that the bank got N30m new notes but politicians had paid for all before the money even got to Calabar.
