The Nigeria Minister of Sports Development Sen. John Owan Enoh has joined the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for the formal unveiling of Finidi George as the Head Coach of the Super Eagles.
Sen. Enoh made this known in a Facebook post on Monday May 13, 2024.
He said the event took place at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
The Minister also described his participation in the ceremony as an opportunity to invite Nigerians to support the newly appointed head coach.
Thus he said in the post: “Today, May 13th, 2024, I had the pleasure of joining The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, for the formal unveiling of Finidi George as the newly appointed Head Coach of the Super Eagles.”
Therefore, “I took the opportunity to call on all Nigerians to rally behind the new coach, as we look forward to a new era of success in the Nigeria football.
While congratulating Coach George on his well deserved appointment, he went ahead to assure him of his full support.
“Congratulations, Finidi George, on your well-deserved appointment,” the Minister said.
“You have the full support and best wishes of myself and the Ministry of Sports Development as you embark on this exciting new chapter.”
