In a bid to forestall attacks during election in Lagos during the Governorship and State Assembly elections on March 11, a makeshift ‘K-9 squads have been formed at various parts of Lagos to protect voters from violence.
As learnt by Truthlive News, owners of fierce dogs are being recruited into this scheme.
Attacks and general violence marred the elections in the former capital territory after Labour Party, LP, took the lead in last election in the state to chagrin of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
But Labour party stalwarts and political stakeholders in the state seeking for change of status quo have said that they are will to initiate security measures to protect voters.
Governorship Candidate of LP in Lagos, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivours, GRV, has been on air promising security for voters.
