Nigerian Army To Conduct Battle Simulation Exercise In Abuja

Army Headquarters Garrison is to conduct a battle simulation exercise at 7 guard battalion obstacle course Lungi barracks, maitama Abuja.

The move was announced in a release signed by its Ag Deputy Director Army Public Relations, Lieutenant colonel Njideka Clara Agwu.

The release shared on social media, said the exercise was part of activities scheduled for inter formation combat platoon obstacle crossing competition 2023.

The exercise which involve real-time battle field simulation and activities started from Tuesday October 24, to Wednesday October 25,2023.

Accordingly. “There would be large battle sounds that would be heard during the exercise which are inline with the training exercise,” the Army said.

It added: “Members of the public who reside around Maitama, Asokoro, AYA and the environs are not to panic but to go about their normal respective business as battle sounds will not raise any security concerns.”

It assured that all necessary safety measures have been put in place.

“You are please requested to disseminate this information to the general public,” it announced.
