President Bola Tinubu has reiterated his commitment to stimulating the Nigerian economy and making it work for the greatest good of the people.

Tinubu said that his administration will leave no stone unturned in its efforts to ensure that the economy is on track and that the progress would be documented and reviewed for performance and transparency.

A statement released on Friday by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, reveals that Tinubu gave the assurance during a meeting with the Board of Trustees of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Professionals Forum, led by former Bauchi State Governor, Mallam Isa Yuguda, at the State House, Abuja on Friday.

During the meeting, Tinubu stressed the importance of the Nigerian economy recovering and working for the good of the greatest number of Nigerians. He expressed his administration’s commitment to bringing about positive change and ensuring that the economy recovers and thrives.

“This economy must recover for the good and greatest number of Nigerians, and we are seriously committed to seeing through a change for the better.

“So far, we have taken some baby steps and pushed some aggressive positions,” the President told the APC professionals, who had earlier pledged their support for the reforms.

In his speech, Yuguda disclosed that more than two million people had been registered as professionals in different fields since 2018 and stood ready to provide structures for mobilisation and sensitization on government policies.
