Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espírito Santo is confident that defender Ola Aina will sign a new contract with the club soon.
Truth Live News reports that Aina’s current contract expires in five months, and Forest risk losing him on a free transfer if a new deal is not agreed upon by the end of the season.
Reacting, Santo expressed positivity about the negotiations, stating, “I think there will be good news. Things are going well. I am positive and confident everything is going to be solved.”
Recall that Aina joined Forest on a one-year contract in 2023, with the club exercising a one-year extension option last summer.
Recently, Santiago Murillo and Chris Wood signed new contracts with the club, and Santo is hopeful that Aina will follow suit.
