Monday Okpebholo also known as Akpakomiza of All Progressives Congress (APC) has defeated Clifford Ordia of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) a serving Senator representing Edo Central Federal Constituency, comprising Esan West/Central/Igueben and Esan North East/Esan South East in the House of Senate.
Prior before the election, Clifford Ordia who has represented the District for the second consecutive times has been told to abort his Senatorial ambition because it is against the zoning arrangements but he would not listened to the voices of wisdom.
True Live News gathered that when someone wanted to dare such move, he was told point blank that it is against the District arrangements and based on that, the person who was about going for senate aborted his ambition.
It was gathered that Ordia, despite the warnings, he was of the believe that he could break the jinx but to his greatest amazement, he was defeated hands down at the poll by Okpebholo
His winning has thrown the entire zone into jubilation as electorate who waited patiently for the results to be announced by INEC representative, bathed him with powder as a sign of victory for him and the entire district.
Congratulatory messages have started pouring in for him as one of his admirers wrote and I quote “Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality.
Warren G. Bennis
“Vision is an entity that could be shoved into materialism.
“One man who is embedded with that visionary burden, to extricate the people of the Edo Central Senatorial district is Monday Okpebholo aka Akpakomiza for wearing a New Political Cap as the Senate-Elect Edo Central Senatorial district
Like he will clearly quotes ” don’t doubt the vision”.
“That vision truly lives in him.
“Enough of being mute in the dark and, eats dully in the dark nights.
“The vision is certain for the light to shine.
“Congratulations my people…
