The Chairman of Orhionmwon Local Government Council has praised Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki for his proactive efforts in rehabilitating the Evboeghae Road.
In a statement by Roy Osariemen, Chief Press Secretary for Orhionmwon Local Government Council, it was revealed that the commendation occurred during an event where former APC members were welcomed into the PDP.
Speaking at the event, the Council Chairman assured Evboeghae residents that the Edo State Ministry of Roads and Bridges, in collaboration with the Orhionmwon Local Government Council, would repair the road, which has been impassable for over a year.
“The Evboeghae Road, which has been unpassable for over a year, has forced road users to rely on alternative routes within the community. Governor Obaseki’s intervention is a significant step towards restoring the road to a motorable condition,” stated the Council Chairman.
This partnership between the Edo State Ministry of Roads and Bridges and the Orhionmwon Local Government Council showcases a strong commitment to improving local infrastructure.
The State ALGON Chairman expressed his gratitude to Governor Obaseki for addressing this critical infrastructure need, highlighting the road’s importance to the community.
The rehabilitation of the Evboeghae Road is anticipated to provide much-needed relief to motorists and residents who have endured its poor condition for over a year. This development emphasizes the PDP-led government’s dedication to enhancing the quality of life for the people of Edo State.
