Asisat Oshoala made a memorable debut for her new club Bay FC by scoring a historic goal in their 1-0 victory over Angel City in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) during Game Week One of the new season.

Oshoala’s decisive goal in the 17th minute not only secured the win for Bay FC but also etched her name into the NWSL history books as she became the first player to score for the club in the league.

With this victory, Bay FC climbed to fourth place in the 14-team league table, showcasing a promising start to their campaign.

Truth Live News recalls that the Nigerian international forward joined Bay FC from Spanish giants Barcelona in the summer transfer window, bringing a wealth of experience and accolades.
