Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen, has generously awarded a young boy who emulated his style and showcased similar football skills with a sum of N2.5 million.
The boy, captured in a video wearing a mask resembling Osimhen’s, caught the footballer’s attention when the clip was shared on Instagram by popular blogger Tunde Ednut.
Upon seeing the video, Osimhen reached out to Ednut, requesting assistance in locating the boy.
With Ednut’s collaboration with content creator Eriq Morak, the boy was traced to Ivory Coast.
Providing an update, Ednut disclosed, “I initially thought this little man was Nigerian. You won’t believe we found him in Ivory Coast.
“#eriqmorak found him. He lives in Ivory Coast. I couldn’t see his message, so he reached out to #ogb recently_ and OGB messaged me. I spoke to the family briefly to make sure it was the boy.”
Osimhen then proceeded to offer the generous gift to the boy, evoking gratitude from his family, who expressed their appreciation in a video message.
