Teslim Igbalaye, Secretary to the State Government; and Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye, Chief of Staff to the Governor. Commissioners, senior special assistants, and other aides were also in attendance.
Adding a cultural touch to the occasion, traditional rulers dressed in regal splendor were led by His Royal Majesty, Oba Munirudeen Adesina Lawal, the Timi of Ede. They highlighted Senator Adeleke’s deep connection to his community and his enduring impact on Osun State.
The ceremony concluded with fervent prayers for Senator Adeleke, fondly remembered as “Serubawon,” with hopes that Almighty Allah will grant him eternal rest in Al-Jannah Firdaus.
“May the soul of our beloved father, leader, and elder statesman, Alhaji Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke, continue to rest in the bosom of Almighty Allah,” a cleric stated, underscoring the heartfelt sentiments of attendees.
