The People’s Democratic Party PDP Governorship candidate in Osun, Ademola Adeleke, prostrated for his elder brother, father to Davido, Deji Adeleke, immediately INEC declared him winner of the just conducted election.
The moment which was captured, caught the dancing senator and the just elected governor of Osun state, crying profusely and hugging tightly to his brother who was apparently a stronghold for him through the election period.
Ademola Adeleke of the PDP obtained the highest number of votes of 403,371, winning 17 Local Government areas, while his closest rival was the APC candidate and the incumbent governor of the state, Adegboyega Oyetola, with votes of 375,027, winning 13 Local Government areas.
