The Osun State Police Command has appointed a new Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Abiodun Ojelabi Zechariah, who has officially resumed duty.
DSP Zechariah replaces the acting PPRO, SP Adeoye Akeem Adeola, who has been transferred to the Ondo State Police Command.
The new PPRO holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the Nigeria Police Academy and was appointed into the Nigeria Police Force in 2018 as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police.
Prior to his posting to Osun State, DSP Zechariah served as a Unit Commander at the 4 PMF in Ibadan.
