The Concerned Christian Youth Forum has issued a statement clarifying that Pastor Korede Komaiya did not initiate the arrest of Apostle Festus Alilu.
Recall that Apostle Alilu was arrested over an alleged defamatory video against Pastor Komaiya.
According to the forum’s convener, James Paul Adama, Pastor Komaiya’s followers were responsible for the arrest, not the pastor himself.
The forum condemned Apostle Alilu’s verbal attack on Pastor Komaiya, considering it unprovoked and unwarranted.
They apologized to Pastor Komaiya on behalf of their community and emphasized the importance of verifying facts before making accusations.
The Concerned Christian Youth Forum is working towards a peaceful resolution and reiterated its commitment to defending Christian leaders from unwarranted attacks.
They encouraged respect for the Christian faith and its leaders, stressing that derogatory comments or attacks on any religion will not be tolerated.
