The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has suspended former Enugu State Governor, Senator Chimaroke Nnamani as a member of the party.
This was disclosed by a statement made by the party’s spokesman, Debo Ologunagba.
Ologunagba added that the suspension is with immediate effect.
He explained that the decision to suspend Nnamani is based on allegations of anti-party activities levelled against Mr Nnamani and was taken by the National Working Committee(NWC).
The NWC also suspended Fayose Oluwajomiloju, son of a former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose; Chris Ogbu of Imo State; Ayeni Funso of Ekiti State, among others.
