The presidential candidate of Labour Party 2023, Peter Obi has expressed sadness over the passing on of Veteran Nollywood actress, Cynthia Okeke.
Truth LiveNews had reported that Cynthia Okeke reportedly died in her sleep on Tuesday night.
Reacting, Peter Obi expressed sadness over her death. He prayed that God grant her an eternal rest.
“The news of the death of Cynthia Okereke, a veteran Nollywood actress, is a very sad one. She was a very popular face in Nigerian movies for decades, and she admirably played her different movie roles to the pleasure of many.
“I condole with her family and friends who are most affected by her death, and also the Actors Guild of Nigeria, over her irreplaceable loss.
“May God who called her home at this time grant her eternal rest,” he tweeted.
