Nigerian artist Peter Okoye, Well-known as Mr. P has admitted that when he was younger, football was his preferred field of study rather than music.
Speaking about his time when he usually play football in Jos, Plateau state, he made this claim on his Twitter page.
However, Mr. P added that he is appreciative for being a successful artist, even though he admitted that he still wishes he was playing football.
Then he offered a philosophical interpretation of the situation, claiming that it is entertaining to watch how one’s life develops when life alters its course.
Peter shared a throwback photo of the team he played for and wrote; “Was suppose to be a Soccer Player or a professional footballer. But today I am grateful to be a professional and successful Musician/Artiste.
When life changes the direction of your future, it might be fun to see where those new horizons take you. But i still wished I was playing football tho???? God bless us all in all we do☺️????????????”
He also state that he once played with Super Eagles star, Mikel Obi Pepsi Academy.
A fan asked it was true and he said; “Yes we did played together at Pepsi Academy way back in Jos Plateau State☺️????????”
