The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has officially unveiled Eric Chelle as the 37th head coach of the Super Eagles, marking a new chapter for Nigerian football.
The unveiling ceremony, held in Abuja, came with high hopes for a fresh approach to the team’s performance on the continental and global stage as the two year contract is hoped to gain the Super Eagles a place in the world Cup.
Speaking at the unveiling, the Chairman of the National Sports Council, Shehu Dikko, promised unalloyed support for the new head coach, and the NFF saying the decision to employ Chelle was a collective one.
The NFF President, Musa Gusau, emphasised the rigorous process behind Chelle’s appointment and urged Nigerians to rally behind the new coach as negativity could derail progress.
The new head coach, Eric Chelle, in his speech, promised that he would do the job he came for diligently.
Chelle, a seasoned coach with a reputation for tactical expertise and a passion for developing teams, takes on the responsibility of steering the Super Eagles back to dominance.
