Charles Philip Arthur George 73, who is now known as King Charles III, according to Clarence House, his official residence, has succeeded his mother, Queen Elizabeth II who passed on yesterday September 8, and ascended the throne as King of the United Kingdom.
King Charles arrived at the Buckingham palace today amidst condolences from people.
Charles’ wife, Camilla 75, the Duchess of Cornwall, will be known as Queen Consort — a title that came with Queen Elizabeth II’s blessing after years of contention, dating back to the days before she even married Prince Charles.
