In South East London, the family of the Late Chief Orbih gathered in their numbers from across the globe to celebrate one of their own, the Matriarch of the family, Madam Bridget Orbih who stands as a mother figure to both the immediate and extended family members.
The celebration which was planned to be a surprise party saw family and friends flying into London from the United States, Nigeria, Europe, and other parts of the world a few days before the event without the celebrant who they hold in the highest esteem, according to legions of accolades that poured in as everyone present who spoke had beautiful tales to say about the woman who is regarded as the prayer warrior of the family.
The ceremony which lasted for a few hours was observed with pomp and pageantry as old friends coming together, seeing themselves for the first time after many years brought some nostalgic feelings. It was all fun all through.
