As preparations for the 2023 elections take preeminence in Nigeria’s political space, Senator Sandy Onor, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Gubernatorial candidate in Cross Rivers state and Chief Dan Osi Orbih, the National Vice Chairman of the PDP South South, have met in Port-Harcourt today to strategise.
Truthlive.net correspondent in Port Harcourt gathered that the meeting was to strategise ahead of the coming election, especially when the zone is doing all it could to reclaim the state which was hitherto for PDP before the outgoing governor crossed over to the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC.
In a chat with our correspondent, Chief Orbih harped on the need for all party stakeholders to come together to ensure that cross river state is reclaimed by the party, as he expressed confidence that the party will sustain its dominance in the south south region come 2023.
This development comes just days after Wike held an official meeting with party candidates across the state, during which he donated 25 buses for campaign purposes.
Chief Dan Orbih is being warmly embraced by all party stakeholders in the south-south zone, as he also continues to gain widespread acceptance at the national level.
