After over 27 years, the Las Vegas police have arrested a man, Duane’ Keege D’ Davis over the alleged murder of rapper, Tupac Shakur.
Truth Live Recall that Shakur was killed in 1996 in a drive-by shooting at Las Vegas.
The rapper and Death Row Records co-founder Suge Knight was on their way to a nightclub when an unidentified gunman fired 14 shots, hitting Shakur four times, ultimately leading to his death days later.
Duane was arrested Friday morning, according to a report by Associate Press although charges are yet to be revealed.
Duane’s arrest comes two months after the Las Vegas police searched his home as “part of the ongoing Tupac Shakur homicide investigation,” NBC reported.
Meanwhile, Police reportedly found some items, including a Pokeball USB drive, a black iPhone, two iPads, and a purple Toshiba laptop.
