Police have detained 57 students from Government Technical College, Orita Aperin, following a violent invasion of CAC Grammar School in the Adeshola area on March 20, 2025, which left property damaged and an engineer injured.

Sources informed Zagazola Makama that the chaos erupted around 3:20 p.m. when a mob of students from Government Technical College stormed the premises of CAC Grammar School. “The large group shattered all the windows of the school laboratory, which was under renovation,” the sources reported. The attackers also smashed the front and rear glass of a staff member’s car and injured an engineer working on the site.

With swift intervention from school authorities and security agencies, 57 of the alleged perpetrators were apprehended. The suspects are currently in police custody as investigations continue to uncover the motive behind the assault and identify any additional participants.
