The Ondo State Police command has confirmed the arrest of 32 persons in a communal clash that led to the death of two persons, at Iwaro-Oka, Akoko South Local Government Area of the State.
The State’s Commissioner of Police, Wilfred Afolabi disclosed this to Journalists in the state.
The clash that occurred Sunday night, affected Owaki, Ebo and Oka-Odo.
It was said that some buildings were razed and properties worth millions of naira were equally destroyed in the process.
CP Afolabi who led other top officials of the State Police command to the affected communities, lauded the command’s operatives for their swift intervention in the affected areas.
He said that those arrested would be made to face the full weight of the law.
