The Vatican stated that doctors have ordered “absolute rest.”
Initially, it was reported that Francis would spend five days in the hospital, but speculation now suggests that his stay could be longer.
As a result, Francis has canceled all his planned appointments over the weekend and at the start of the week.
A recent bulletin on the pope’s health, issued by the Vatican, stated that his condition is “stable.”
