President Bola Tinubu has appointed Mr. Tope Fasua as the Special Adviser on Economic Affairs in the Vice President’s office. Mr. Fasua, the CEO of Global Analytics Consulting, brings a wealth of expertise in economics, finance, and consulting to this crucial role. His impressive educational background includes graduating as the top student in economics from Ondo State University in 1991 and obtaining an M.Sc. in Financial Markets & Derivatives from London Metropolitan University.
Mr. Fasua’s professional journey began in 1992 at Citizens Bank, leading to positions of influence at institutions like Standard Trust Bank and Equatorial Trust Bank, where he became a Principal Manager/Regional Director in Abuja. He furthered his executive education at prestigious institutions such as the London Business School and Harvard University, solidifying his reputation as an economic and financial markets expert.
Aside from his banking career, Mr. Fasua is an accomplished author, having written books like “CRUSHED” (2011) and “THINGS TO DO BEFORE YOUR CAREER DISAPPEARS” (2013). His insights have made him a regular television analyst, providing valuable perspectives on economics and financial markets to the public.
