A recent picture has revealed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Aide on Digital & Creative Economy, Fegho John Umunubo, in a meeting with the Cross River State Deputy Governor Rt Hon. Peter Odey in Calabar.
The photos also featured the Cross River State Commissioner for Science and Technology, Dr. Justin Beshel, and the Director-General, Microfinance & Enterprise Development Agency, Mr. Great Ogban.
The Chief Press Secretary to Deputy Governor of Cross River State Mr. Fred Abua Esq. Who made the photos available to Truth Live News on Friday said the aide and the Deputy Governor had a roundtable discussion.
Although, the essence of the visit was not made public but the meeting is a stark reminder of the need for urgent action to address the issue of digital and creative economy in Nigeria and in Cross River State as a whole.
“Will officials finally take the necessary steps to provide solutions to the problem of digital and creative economy as well as science and technology or will the greater masses continue to suffer the consequences of inaction?”
