Six more kidnapped students of the Confluence University of Science and Technology, (CUSTECH) Osara in Kogi State have been rescued from their abductors, bringing the total number of rescued students to twenty.

Truthlive news recalled that On May 9, gunmen invaded the university and abducted students who were preparing for their examinations.

Fourteen of the students were rescued early Sunday morning.

In a statement released on Tuesday by the state Commissioner for Information, Kingsley Fanwo, it was revealed that there are still four students yet to be located.

The Commissioner confirmed that the families of the six recently rescued students have verified their safe return home.

Governor Usman Ododo of Kogi State expressed profound gratitude to the Joint Forces involved in the rescue operations, urging them to persist until all students are accounted for.
