Rivers: Fubara Receives Labour Union On Courtesy Call, Swears-In More Commissioners

The governor of Rivers state Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has sworn in another set of 9 Commissioners.

The swearing-in which was done on Tuesday at the government house in Port Harcourt was to speed up efforts in providing quality governance.

“As we are anxious to deliver on our mandate, today. We are indeed committed to our vision of continuity and consolidation,” the governor said and that reflects in the team they are putting together.

Meanwhile, The Nigerian Labour Congress, Rivers State Council had on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, in government house Port Harcourt.

Via his Facebook account the governor said the visit was rewarding as the Union pledged loyalty and support to the government to consolidate on growth and development.
