Cristiano Ronaldo has been awarded a Guinness World Record for most wins as an international player.

The Portugal captain received the honour on Sunday night after securing 132 victories with Portugal.

The award was presented to Ronaldo ahead of Portugal’s UEFA Nations League quarter-finals second leg against Denmark.

Ronaldo scored one goal as Portugal beat Denmark 5-3 in extra time, advancing to the semi-finals of the UEFA Nations League.
