Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has issued a rallying cry to his teammates, urging them to remain humble and focused as they pursue the Premier League title.
Salah’s warning came after Liverpool’s convincing 3-1 win over Leicester City on Boxing Day, which saw the Egyptian international score the third goal alongside Cody Gakpo and Curtis Jones.
The victory propelled Liverpool to 42 points from 17 matches, leapfrogging Chelsea, who have 35 points from 18 games.
Speaking to @primevideosport, Salah expressed his desire to win the Premier League title this season, but cautioned that success will only come through hard work and humility.
“This year feels different. I want to win the Premier League, we really want to win it. Let’s do it! But remember that the most important thing is to keep working and stay humble, ” Salah said.
