Senators in the National Assembly walked out of the red chambers in protest of the worsening security situation amongst other issues which have besieged the country.
Recall that truthlive.net had earlier reported that some senators walked out of the plenary today after the Minority Leader of the Senate,Phillip Aduda, raised a point of order asking the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, to discuss the security situation in the country and the impeachment of President Muhammadu Buhari but Lawan declined it.
Angered by Senator Lawan’s refusal, members of the Senate who were not elected on the platform of the ruling All Progressive Congress APC, took turns to leave the plenary.
On their way out, they kept chanting “Buhari Must Go” and this was captured in a video which has gone viral.
