The Nigerian Senate has delayed its planned presentation of President Bola Tinubu’s proposed ministerial candidates until Wednesday, July 26, 2023.
It was initially slated for today but has been postponed on the order paper.
The motion to postpone the announcement without reason was moved in the Senate by the Majority Leader, Senator Bamidele Opeyemi, and seconded by the Minority Leader, Senator Simon Davou Mwadkwon.
The President is reported to have submitted the ministerial list to the Senate last week but the Senate allegedly delayed the announcement due to some changes being effected on the list.
