Akwa Ibom State Governor Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, has issued a stern warning to criminal elements during a send-forth dinner and gala night to bid farewell to service commanders.
The warning contained in a farewell message issued via his official X handle during weekend.
Gov. Eno emphasized his administration’s commitment to security, while also reiterating his stand that the state will not accommodate any activities from criminals within the state.
Meanwhile, the celebrated service commanders on transferred for higher national responsibilities included outgoing commanders, and promoted General.
The Governor wrote: “Last night, I hosted a “Send-forth Dinner and Gala Night” to bid farewell to service commanders transferred for higher national responsibilities and celebrate recent promotions of Akwa Ibom sons in the Nigerian Armed Forces.”
Moreover, “I am grateful for the dedication of outgoing commanders, including AIG Olatoye Durosinmi and Major General Ken Chigbu, and the presence of Rear Admiral E. Ebe.”
Therefore, “It was a night of camaraderie and appreciation for our brave men and officers,” he stated.
