Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) side Shooting Stars have declared their readiness for the highly anticipated South West derby against Sunshine Stars.
The match is scheduled to take place at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne on Saturday.
According to the Ibadan-based club, their players are fully focused and prepared for the battle ahead.
In a statement on X, Shooting Stars wrote, “Full concentration for the derby in Ikenne, no room for distraction.”
The match serves as a rematch of last season’s fixture, which saw Sunshine Stars emerge victorious with a 1-0 win, courtesy of a goal from Moses Omoduemuke.
Shooting Stars will be seeking revenge and aiming to claim all three points in the upcoming encounter.
