The Minister of Sports Development Sen John Owan Enoh, has played host to the executive of the Hope Wadell Old Boys Association In his office, Abuja.
Sen Enoh who made this known via his official Facebook page said they also stopped by to speak on the second edition of their sports event.
The second edition of the sports event he said will include a marathon in the ancient city of Calabar, south south Nigeria.
The minister said physical and mental fitness is a component of this administration’s agenda.
“We all must be conscious of living a physically fit life, as this enhances our total well-being.”
In another development, the Prestige Football Academy Abuja has visited the minister in his office.
Minister Enoh said they spoke on the need for a regulation around scouting sports talents from the country.
In his words “The conversation will definitely go a step further and birth meaningful actions in the interest of sports talents,” he assured.
